Passive Circuit and Devices

Passive Circuit and Device

Teem Photonics masters an integrated optics platform, based on glass ion-exchange technology. For more than 10 years we have been delivering to the market a large diversity of Photonics Integrated Circuits (PIC).

Thanks to our flexible integration technology, we can uniquely combine various optical functions to create compact, robust and reliable optical passive circuits, that serve all fields of application.

Serve a wide range of applications:

Our robust and compact passive PICs are found in:

  • Optical communication components and systems
  • Laser source and laser systems
  • Optical sensors systems
  • Light sources
  • Medical research and biophotonics technologies
  • Defence and security
  • Fluid detection and control
  • Interferometer systems
  • Spectrometer systems
  • Semiconductor inspection

Example of realisations:

Two recent example of passive circuit realisation:

  • Fiber spacing concentrator (FSC) :
Used to connect a larger of fibres with a large number of waveguides with optimised mode shape, while keeping the core to core spacing very small

  • Passive circuit for sensor device
A passive planar waveguide circuit, that integrates: one 1x3 splitter and three 2x2 couplers. Input and ouput ports are connected to single mode fibres.
