Metro EDWA series

A new class of small form
factor optical amplifiers
for single channel,
narrow-band or DWDM
applications, the new Metro
EDWA series is Teem's next
step in the product evolution
of erbium doped amplifiers,
designed to drive complexity
and cost out of the optical
metro network.   







  Three models are available
for Metro applications as
a single channel pre-amp
for metro and long-haul
optical network upgrades,
a narrowband
preamp/booster for add/drop
at metro nodes,
or as a booster in DWDM
systems.

Teem's proprietary
waveguide technology
underpins each model which
enables volume production
and cost effective
manufacturing processes.

  

Fiber Spacing Concentrators target applications that require a high number of carrier wavelengths.
